Abstract Background Domestic mites are a primary source of allergens indoors all over the world. Extracts mite important for diagnosing and treating allergy. The effective cultivation processes play critical role in final composition mites' allergen extracts. In order to produce large amounts antigens domestic mites, culture techniques were studied. isolated from collected dust samples cultured on fine-ground mixture sawdust (2:1). While dry yeast, wheat germ, cornflour used at ratio 2:1:1 nutrition. Food was placed few centimeters cement base that had been bottom rearing containers. population growth rates determined. Results Successful methods cultures utilize high protein carbohydrate foods, an average temperature (25 ± 2) °C relative humidity (80 5) %. During 14-week observation period culture, peak number obtained after 8 weeks Tyrophagus , 10 Dermatophagoides 12 Blomia ; thereafter, decreased. Significant differences found ( P = 0.02) 0.03) between pure mixed cultures. Conclusions modifications made diet showed yield mites. Also, layer also is excellent way make space egg laying prevent escaping.
